New cold-pressed apple juice launched in Australia

A new apple juice product, Soluna Apple Juice, has been launched in Australia. Made exclusively from ANABP 01 apples—known locally as Bravo apples—the product is produced using cold-pressing technology and High Pressure Processing (HPP). This method is designed to preserve the juice's nutritional content and flavour without the use of heat.

Soluna Apple Juice is noted for its naturally sweet taste and is produced without added ingredients. The use of HPP ensures safety and extends shelf life to 90 days, while cold-pressing retains essential nutrients.

According to Sean Engelbrecht, Commercialisation Manager at WA Farm Direct, the juice reflects an effort to combine local apple varieties with processing innovations to maintain quality and freshness. Engelbrecht emphasized that the juice highlights the distinct characteristics of ANABP 01 apples, known for their crisp texture and sweet flavour.
