Azerbaijan boosts pomegranate exports by 38% in 2025

In January to April 2025, Azerbaijan exported 5,027 tonnes of pomegranates worth $4.299 million, according to the State Customs Committee, as reported by ABC.AZ.

Compared to the same period in 2024, this represents a 37.7% increase in volume, when 3,651 tonnes were exported for $3.263 million.

Despite the growth in export volumes and revenue, the average export price per kilogram slightly declined, equating to around 1.45 AZN/kg ($0.85), down from 1.52 AZN/kg ($0.89) a year earlier.

Pomegranates accounted for 0.05% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
