India’s largest frozen potato plant opens in Gujarat

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched Falcon Agrifriz's automated frozen potato products plant in Kadi, Mehsana, Gujarat. The facility, crafted with an investment of $126.5 million, stands as the largest in India, producing frozen French fries, wedges, hash browns, and nuggets.

The operation seeks to empower regional farmers via contract farming and create job opportunities, resonating with the government's drive to advance India's food processing industry.

Incorporating advanced technology and sustainability, the plant symbolizes the company's dedication to innovation, hygiene, and responsible production practices. The event underscores India's trajectory toward becoming a global leader in premium frozen food production.
