Excellent feedback for the first two days of Interfood Azerbaijan

Interfood Azerbaijan has reached its 30th edition and confirms its vocation for fruit and vegetables. The fair, which took place in Baku from 13 to 16 May 2025, has recorded excellent visitor numbers. FreshPlaza has talked about it with Italian Omar Papi of Futura srl.

"We noticed a considerable flow of visitors during the second day of the event - both existing and possible new customers. This was very positive and confirms the growth of this exhibition."

"All Azerbaijani fruit producers attended the exhibition. Then there were many institutional stands such as Georgia, Turkey, and Russia. The visitors to our stand were mostly Azerbaijanis, who represent the focus of our mission as we have a local team that offers turnkey solutions, from design to finished warehouses."

InterFood Azerbaijan is one of the most important meeting places for food industry professionals in the Caspian region, hosting thousands of trade visitors from over 20 countries around the world every year. The fair aims to promote quality products on the market and to establish direct contacts between exhibitors and visitors. Food products, including fruit and vegetables, as well as equipment for processing and sorting, are presented in one place.

"While the first day was mostly institutional, with a visit from the national president, the whole second day was very intense. Azerbaijan confirms itself as a very active country, which needs technology and investment to produce, process, package, and export fruit and vegetables, mostly to Russia."

"Apples, peaches, Saturn peaches, apricots, plums, pears, persimmons, pomegranates, and greenhouse vegetables: Azerbaijan grows practically everything, meaning sorting and sizing technologies like ours are required."
