Potato supplier Branston has appointed Jason Kelly as its new chief operating officer, bringing over 25 years of experience in senior operational roles across the food industry.
Kelly previously served as vice-president of global manufacturing at Krispy Kreme. He also held leadership positions in the UK grocery sector, where he was involved in streamlining packing and processing operations for fresh produce and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
Reflecting on his return to the fresh produce industry, Kelly noted the appeal of its fast-paced environment and the opportunity to contribute to an organisation with significant growth plans. "The fresh produce and added-value sector presents complex challenges, particularly in balancing the needs of suppliers and consumers. My role at Branston is to help maintain that balance through effective supply chain and operational management," he said.
