So far, more than 1,800 tons of product have been packaged across various processing lines. This includes premium-grade merchandise in a range of packaging formats, as well as Limonello-branded packs aimed at enhancing smaller calibers. The latter has achieved impressive results.

"This year, we have positioned ourselves in more retail chains than ever before, both in Italy and abroad. Our export share reached 70%. In addition to Italy, our products were exported to Germany, Norway, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Croatia, Romania, and Hungary, as well as non-EU countries such as Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia," says Pietro Buongiorno, the president of the Consortium of Affiliated Lemon Producers, which owns the Limorè brand.
Although the current marketing campaign will end in early June, preparatory work for the next Limorè campaign is already underway. "We will purchase a sorting machine to improve product selection and reduce personnel expenses. The Limorè Consortium has brought together approximately 80 hectares of local lemon production, and we are looking to expand our membership. This is due to the great results we have achieved and the numerous requests we have received from farmers who wish to join the consortium. We know the only way forward is to work as a team."
"It is important to emphasize the significant efforts of the Limorè Consortium during its six years as an organization. Despite the limited resources of its members, it has built a productive and commercial structure in an area where lemons were previously sold under different names. Our organization provides members with all the necessary tools, including agronomic consultancy, product harvesting, packaging, logistics, and sales. We have spread the name of Rocca Imperiale around the world. Additionally, we are happy to have created jobs, growing from five to thirty workers."
